Flourish has been proudly featured in Canterbury Bride and named 2nd Runner-Up for Sustainability at the North Canterbury Business Awards — recognition of an approach founder Cass Heath has built from the ground up, quite literally.

Cass's path here was anything but conventional. After eleven years as a dairy farmer and as an event manager for New Zealand Young Farmers (Northern Region), she retrained as a florist — bringing an unusually deep understanding of land, seasons and growing to the art of floral design. The result is a signature style: garden-grown, artfully designed, thoughtfully sustainable. Modern garden luxury, with a conscience.

When she's not among the blooms, Cass can be found with the honorary Flourish team — husband Dan, loyal dog Pip, and their beloved pet cows. It's a slightly chaotic, thoroughly considered little farm, where beauty and sustainability were never meant to be separate things — and where every celebration, and everyone in it, is welcome.
